Tohoku University's International Graduate Program in Japanese Studies will host the Fifth Tohoku Conference on Global Japanese Studies from December 9-10 at Kawauchi Campus.

This conference aims to provide scholars of Japanese Studies the opportunity to exchange ideas, fostering the possibility of further collaboration. The conference will bring together students and researchers from a range of ages, nationalities and disciplines.

Sessions two and four of the five-session program will be hosted online. Those wishing to participate in the online session should register at the link below by December 7, 2023.
