Due to the popularity of the previous two promotion campaigns, Tohoku University, in partnership with Co-op, will once again be offering students affordable breakfast from July 12 - 22.

For 100 yen, students can have a cooked breakfast at Kawauchi no Mori Dining, or takeaway a bento. There will be two different set meals on the menu each day. This limited 9-day event is only for Tohoku University students. A meal card or student ID is required.

Dates: July 12 - 22 (excluding the weekend)
Time: 7:50 am to 8:50 am
Place: Kawauchi-no-Mori Dining Room, Kawauchi-Kita Campus
Price: 100 yen

This third round of affordable breakfast is sponsored by the Tanaka Memorial Foundation through the Tohoku University Fund. The Tanaka Memorial Foundation, which is part of the Tanaka Precious Metals Group, supports the research of precious metals through grants, and provides several scholarships each year to students of science and engineering at Tohoku University.

This breakfast promotion is also part of the Tohoku University Alumni Association's on-going "Support Student Life!"campaign aimed at helping students who might be struggling financially due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.
